John McVie's Flying Penguin tattoo

Hey everybody,

I have been considering getting a tattoo for quite some time. I have managed to narrow down my choice of graphic to a penguin, like John McVie's. I have found pictures of the Fleetwood Mac penguin from the White album jacket, but I've really been looking for pictures of the flying penguin tattoo on his right hand. Thats the one I really want, can anyone help me out? I need pictures of it desperately!

Thanks!

I'm not sure it's flying penguin (as penguins don't fly :p ), I think it's just a bird. Here's a picture of both tattoos.

I've always wanted the French Penguin or the flower thingy on Greatest Hits as tats. I decided that a Penguin at the age of wouldn't be so cool. John is able to pull it off, but I'm not as awesome as he is.

I remember I posted the same years ago. I go for the french penguin. But at the end I didn't get the tattoo. I'm afraid of cancer. My grandma died of skin cancer. Actually all my grandparents died of cancer. At least cancer appeared on them at the end of their lives.

But if tattoos weren't risky, I'd get one. But I think they are.

I wouldn't say they are a cancer risk...more of a hepatitis risk.

No problem. ;)

FWIW when I met him, the only slightly odd thing I really did was to touch the penguin tattoo LOL. I just couldn't refrain. Other than that, I (hopefully)acted like a pretty normal person. :D

He gave me a bit of a John McVie patented 'alright, why did you just do that?' look and then sort of chuckled. I think the poor man was like in mid-sentence when i lost control LOL--I believe I actually whispered, "Oh, there's the penguin.."

This is quite embarrassing to recall now that I think about it. :D

I don't mean any disrespect but what have tattoos got to do with getting cancer?

My ex wanted to get a tattoo but he was afraid of skin cancer and I was like, "Where did you ever get that idea? No one has gotten cancer from a tattoo!" Of course, then he got one which he credited me with. At least it's a nice one!

Hep...

I know someone who got Hepatitis from getting a tattoo. I've never heard of anyone getting cancer, I don't think that's possible, is it?

LOL at kenzo!

No. You are right. Tattoos are not a risk factor for cancer. I can see how someone would think that.....changing the skin cells and all where the ink is. I don't think the ink changes the cell structure to make it cancerous.
