No ... freakin ... way! I had front row for this show, right between Stevie & Christine -- incidentally, the only time I've ever been at the front.

Can't wait to download it and hear myself screaming! (Yes, I was screaming that loud, so I have no doubt their mikes picked me up... ) :blob2: :blob1:

THANKS!!!

Thanks for posting the show Tiff! But I have a question: why is it so short? And why are there no LB songs? Was he there that night?

:-)

I thought LIndsey didn't tour with Tango. That was when he quit. My question is...Why no Seven Wonders?

You're welcome. I'm not sure why it's incomplete... that's just the way it came to me. A lot of soundboards that originally came from Frank Harding and got filtered through Maureen seem to be missing substantial chunks of show. I was told the tape was a direct copy of the soundboard from Frank, but that seems not to be the case. I now understand that there is a complete version out there. I'm not clear on whether or not it is soundboard as well, but I'm sure we will see that make the rounds soon.

I have the complete version of this show. I got it in a trade several years ago. But, it's an audience recording not a soundboard, although it is still of excellent quality, just not as good as this soundboard.

The she I got from Brian about a month ago seems to be a SBD. It's a full show as well.
I say its an SBD cuase thats what Brian says.

is what I have labeled a "Soundboard" recording (Though missing a bit of lower bass levels, The sound is coming through both channels in an even balanced sound) since it is missing the usual & obvious identifying marks of an "Audience" recording (ie-Too much bass, Crowd noise, unbalanced sound). The sound is even & clear, The band is out front in the mix, Even though the audience is present on the recording (Only letdown is the bad disc transfer, Which allowed a "skipping" sound to exist between "Track transitions" on this great sounding show.)

I am listening to it yet again as I type (With headphones on) and I cannot say for certain it is an "Audience" recording. This recording is very similar to several Bruce Springsteen "Soundboard" recordings (Which I own) that included "audience" noise that was captured from microphones of another source recording and then mixed with the "soundboard" recording to produce what is called a "Matrix Recording".

I would like to trade for the version Tiff (Uncut and non-TAO/MP3) has so I can compare the two and come to a decision if this recording is either a great "AUD", an average "SBD" or a newer circulating "Matrix".

True, I just finished transferring several of the "Soundboard" tapes originally received from Maureen for another Ledgie, And I believe that each contained errors (ie-Track Cuts) that cannot ever be fixed unless someone comes into possession of the actual/physical tapes that were recorded off the soundboard back in the day...I hate to say I'm sure that will never happen, So we are stuck with these recordings, warts and all.
