Can Someone ID This Early FM Photo?

I saw this on ebay, and figured that it had to be pretty early because Stevie is not in black yet and her hair was still pretty much like it was in the BN days.

Can anyone ID the location?

I've seen that photo before, and you're right, it must be early, maybe one of their very first performances. I kinda like her hair like that. At least the color anyway. I think I like her hair a little darker with blonde streaks the most.

Well, it does say "1975" in the description. :p

They really do look more 73 BN era rather than 75 Mac to me.

This is from the first tour with FM -- that's definately Mick's drum set and gong in the background.

Look at the back of the white Fleetwood Mac cd... Stevie looks just like this with the hair. So I'd say the 1975 tour.

I agree just because of how Stevie looks. I was just curious if someone knew the location of the concert photos, based on past photos that they have seen, etc.

I'd def say White Album tour. God i wish there was more footage from it.

Stevie got like 2 songs in the set then, what did she do the whole time?

at first i thought it was BN but that drum set has mick written all over it (not literally!) so i'd say it was one of the first performances.

Speaking of footage of their 1975 tour . . . how much video footage is out there from these concerts?

Livia 01-20-2005 06:19 PM

Okay, call me redundant - it CLEARLY says in the item title and in the description - 1975.

"Here is a set of 8 - 4 x 6 color concert photos of Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac taken on their 1975 tour."

Am I the only one around here with attention to detail? Or are y'all questioning whether or not the seller has correct info? And yes, I'm a little overworked and punchy today. :o

No - that is not what I mean . . .

As I posted before, I wanted to know where the photos are from. I get that they are on the 1975 tour. I wanted to know the location.

I bought a couple of photos from that shoot at a Guitar Show in Arlington, TX several years ago. The guy I bought them from said he didn't take them, but a buddy of his did. I asked him where they were taken and he said he thought they were taken at the Fort Worth Convention Center in 1975. I looked up tour dates on 2 different websites-neither one has any Ft. Worth dates, but there are TWO Dallas dates. I never saw those photos available again until now. The guy I bought from only had two (of Stevie) and I bought them both. The seller uses Texas in his screen name so maybe it's the same person I bought from. That's all the info I have, and it's pretty vague at best. :sorry:

#6 and #8 are the ones I have-wish I had the whole set!!

They played their first shows throughout Texas during the third week in May. They hit El Paso, Amarillo, Abilene, Dallas, San Antonio & Austin -- all in mid May. It stands to reason they could have played Fort Worth at that time, too.
