Fifth and Sixth Fritz Songs! Yellow and The Power!
 

Javier has given me two more songs to post now-- these are full-length, live Fritz songs-- over 12 minutes worth of music. The songs are Yellow and The Power and were recorded in Aragon High School in San Mateo in 1970. These will give an example of what Fritz sounded like live. They are also featured in the new discography script and you listen to the previously posted song clips there too. Lyrics for all songs are also available.

Javier, thanks for sharing your Fritz recordings & your notes about your new B3 & Leslie rig for these performances.

Don Leslie died just a few months ago. I saw him speak at a special program of the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad about a month before he died, & he was as spry & avuncular as ever -- thrilled to be answering questions about his great invention.

The Power sounds like it could be a Dead song to me as a few of these other songs have. Yellow is heavier and I really like the lyrics, they'd still go well today.

so can someone tell me if LIndsey or stevie is singing, or what?

Stevie is singing on both, she's lead on The Power (which I really liked.) Yellow is a bit harder to hear, so I'm not sure is Stevie's singing lead or if they're all singing? I can't make out LB's vocal that well on either.
