Fleetwood Mac: Live in '75
Thinking about the new year coming, I realized that it will have been 30 years ago that Stevie and Lindsey joined Fleetwood Mac...and I thought what better way to celebrate that, then to share my favourite concert of theirs, from that first tour! I've posted the concert set from September 3rd, 1975, in Wallingford, CT. The sound quality is excellent, and it's one of my very favourites ~ Stevie's versions of 'Rhiannon' and 'Landslide' are incredible, as all of the tracks are! It's posted on my website until the end of New Year's Day, for anyone who would like to grab a copy. Many thanks to David from www.throwndown.net, as it's because of him that I was able to obtain the concert in the first place...he's so great posting so many goodies for us!
http://crystalvisionsdesigns.com Once you enter the website, click on the small Stevie graphic that says 'Fleetwood Mac' ~ a pop-up window will display the tracks to download. Happy New Year, everyone! |
thanks for posting that. i have a tape cassette of that performance so this should be better quality hopefully that i can burn to cd.
 |
I also have David to thank for having this bootleg. You gotta love the beginning:
"We wanna welcome you all to Trod Nossel Studio. These are some pretty nice people I think you're gonna have a pretty good time. We wanna thank the subway system and Dick Pilchen(?) for all the subways and all the sodas...Fleetwood Mac! Make 'em feel at home please." |
Thank you for posting this! I love all of their 1975 concerts!

Wow. That "Rhiannon" is simply stunning. Not just Stevie, but the band too -- I've never heard a more intense rendition. Can you imagine being in the crowd that night, never having heard of Stevie Nicks or "Rhiannon," and hearing THAT? It would have been almost too much to take in!

The "Get Like" file has a spoken introduction that I've never heard on any version. I love it! It confirms the Trod Nossel location once & for all. (I hope this convinces people to take the silly San Diego label off their copies on their trade pages.) But where did the Sept. 3 date come from? I've always dated it Sept. 23. |
That's what I have...
