Burning mp3 to C.D help
 

Of late I have been having trouble burning my mp3 on cd disks.
It dosn't seem to matter what brand or price of blanks I use, or what program I use, I have used all the top brands of disks and programs.
When I play the completed disk it plays the first few songs sometimes, then I get skips. I have cleaned all my cd rom drives real well as well as the players. Still get the problem. Some times I get errors when recording. Even when I use different speeds to burn the disk. My computer is runing fine and I have lots of ram and hard drive space.
Any help with this?

Are you using Mac or Windows? If you're on Windows, I had problems like that when I first started burning CDs... somebody finally told me that it would help if I did control-alt-delete and shut down everything except Explorer and systray. That did the trick for me... although I don't work on PCs much anymore so other than that, I don't know what it would be doing.
