Practical Tips You Learned From Movies

Practical, useful, instructional or even inspirational tips you learned from movies:

1. Clemenza's pasta recipe in "Godfather II" is still the best. I've tried it, with a few of my favorite herbs & spices, & it's good enough for a king.

2. "Kramer vs. Kramer" taught me how to make great scrambled eggs.

3. "War Games" taught me how to make free phone calls.

4. "The Empire Strikes Back" taught me the importance of having light speed function regularly checked & serviced.

Post your own!

-Gone with the Wind taught me to put off my problems until tomorrow - "I can't think about that now, I'll think about it tomorrow..."

-Moonstruck taught me that all men are wolves ;)

Threes Company (I know, not a movie) taught me how to separate the egg white from the yolk by juggling the egg between two halves of its shell.

Drop Dead Gorgeous showed me that being first runner-up is ok. You may just become queen due to a freak float accident.

-Real Women Have Curves taught me that I should not panic and hate myself for the ten extra pounds I may be carrying around...I can still be attractive - because real women have curves ;)

'The Wizard of Oz' taught me to never leave home without my ruby slippers, or else I'll have a bitch of a time getting back. ;)

Diabolique and I Know What You Did Last Summer taught me that, if i'm going to kill someone, i better to a real good job making sure they're dead, because that kind of thing can easily come back and bite you in the ass.

Waterworld taught me that even though you may pour millions and millions of dollars into a project - it still may be a complete and utter piece of S**t.

Oh indeed. I have an eye doctor friend who does custom contacts for movies and tv. He went to the location to ostensibly do a fitting for Costner. The appointment never happened. He waited 6 weeks. My pal got a 6 week tropical vacation and 240k for his trouble.

Hee!

Well, I learned from Toy Story (my fave movie) that your toys really do come to life when you aren't looking.

I knew it!!!!!!

All Christmas movies... that's all I can think of right now...

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation taught me that cats and Christmas lights don't mix.

Charlie Brown Christmas taught me that even ugly trees need to be loved. :xoxo:

Can't think of the name of this one but the one where the kid sticks his tongue on a flagpole in the middle of winter... never do that either!
