Stevie's Collaborators

Out of all the people who've cowritten songs with Stevie, who do you think she produced the strongest material with? Here's a list of the regulars (I think...if I'm missing some songs let me know).

RICK NOWELS:

Two Kinds of Love

SANDY STEWART:

RICK VITO:

GARY NICHOLSON & J. JARVIS

Personally, I've always felt Michael Campbell was her best collaborator - except for the horrid Desert Angel, that is!

i would mostly concur, except for Rick Nowells and Sandy Stewart have a couple of my SUPER FAVORITES on there (i can't wait, Seven Wonders). This is hard...Mike Campbell has SDMHA...

Sandy Steward deffintely my favourite, Seven Wonders it about my all time favourite song, and Rick Nowells would come a close second.

Seven Wonders. Word.

I know it's very much a pop song but I absolutely love it, and did before I even knew it was done by Fleetwood Mac, I think the film clip is superb as well.

me, too...i just think it's a gorgeous song  PERIOD. I didn't know who did it when i first fell in love with it either...

I don't mean to throw a wet blanket on the "Seven Wonders" love, I love it too... HOWEVAH, it I'm not mistaken, the ENTIRE song is basically Ms.Stewart's...Our LaNicks was so zonked out during the recording that she actually flubbed the original lyrics, hence the "Emmeline"...From what I understand that's ALL our Stevie "contributed".

I believe Emmeline was a misquote from "down the line", I don't think it would matter who wrote the song, Stevie makes it hers with her brilliant delivery, lets face that is essentially what music is about isn't it?

Definitely Rick Nowels! His RAL/TOSOTM stuff is my favorite. Except for TKOL (ZZzzzzz). Mike Campbell is a close second though...

Rick Nowels 4eVa!1!!!!11 :D

They all have their highs and lows......but I'll go with Campbell and Stewart as my favorites. Rupert Hine is my least favorite.

I've been meaning to speak to him about that one!

For me, generally it would be a tie between Sandy Stewart and Rick Nowels, but judging from their most recent work together, Rick is ahead by an inch.
