Is there a video boot of Jones Beach '04?
 

I just downloaded this AMAZING video of Sara from Jones Beach that was posted at www.bluewhitefire.com, and it brought tears to my eyes because that show was the last time I saw them, and it's you know, SO beautiful. But the quality and the way it was filmed (as well as the fact that it wasn't filmed from the pit) make me think it might be professionally shot.

My question is just: does anyone know if in fact the whole show exists on video or DVD? I'd sell my first born for a copy of that!

There are two different shots of that particular show... from what I've heard.

Ooh good news!!! :) Good to know it exists. I'm hoping to do a trade for that eventually, but first I'm still trying to find Toronto '03 on DVD. Kicking myself for not just buying it at a record show for $20 when I had the chance...

I personally hope that whoever provided that AMAZING clip (amazing because of the perfect quality and the fact that I didn't get to see them on the last leg, made the clip so much more special) will provide us with a few more songs from this show. Preferably IKINW.

Me too. I'm glad there's a video out there of the last time i saw them. And i love that video too. I think estrangedforlife has the complete concert. You might want to check his page.

From what I know.. of the two versions.. One is better then the other and the one that Tif has up on her site is of the better quality show. How this will be listed... when you see them on trade pages, is beyond me... But trader beware.. :)

on DVD & VHS...But I'm not sure there is 2 versions of this show though (If there is 2 versions then that is news to me)

I do know there is also a DVD & VHS of the 2003 Jones Beach too...

Wow, she sounds great in this clip. The fact that she can still sing two of her "Tusk" songs (BC and Sara) so well makes me yearn even harder for a live "Storms"... Maybe someday...

AND - when I watch this and think this energy is coming from a woman in her mid-50's who, prior to this concert, cancelled a few because of vocal problems - SHEEBUS!!!!!!!!!!!

I think she is radiant in it and when she points at LB during the "I'd go anywhere" part - SHEEBUS SQUARED!!!!!!!

I also think how she seductively holds LB mic. when singing the "All I ever wanted . . . " lines is white hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:
