Now go listen to the 26 Feb 77 Rumours Rehearsal recording, at the end of Say You Love Me/beginning of GYOW (around 4:25 into SYLM on my CD). Stevie sounds more amused than anything through this.

Christine: ... pleasure to be here in Berkley this evening...
Stevie: I'm not?... I'm not?
Christine: This is our first gig for about nine months.
Stevie: *inaudible*... my guitar get(got?) taken away.
male voice: *inaudible*
Stevie: You mean...
Christine: Could I have another Perrier water please?
Stevie: You mean my debut is not debuting?.... Raymond, are you playing on this song?

So. *My* best guess on the mystery picture is it's GYOW at a Rumours rehearsal prior to 26 Feb 77.

When I first heard that bit from 2.26.77, that was my immediate thought: So THAT'S the song the photo is from. Quite likely so.

The photo in the "Rumours" songbook, for example, is definitely 1977; the effects box for "Gold Dust Woman" is visible atop the electric piano. Stevie's in pants, but otherwise they all seem dressed for a show, so it's possibly dress rehearsal night for the '77 tour!
