Hmmm...I checked amazon.com and you're right. But a bunch of people have told me it was today.

I was wondering why it hadn't been mentioned yet.

February 4th 1977 was the American release. Maybe it was released on 10/15 in some other country?

It doesn't need to be the Birthday for us to celebrate the release of Rumours, now lets all give thanks for a great album :)

Which do you prefer better & listen to more, the original Rumours cd or the live performances of those great songs?

There's something about the original recordings that you can't beat - the sound and the atmosphere that come with them.

You are so right. When I listen to Rumours, it takes me back to the day I first heard it on my sister & brother-in-law's turntable, I would listen to it when I babysat for them........memories......besides, Stevie's younger (I call it her baby voice) is the best!

How many albums has Rumours sold now? Every list I see only gives you the American figures of about 25 million. World sales must be well over 30 by now?

Villavic 10-18-2004 12:15 PM

Still the 4th?

Yes, when I listen Rumours original songs... I can see the sunset, I can hear the waves.. I can smell the sea..

And I don't know if it's still the 4th best selling album. Hope so.
(Because I always read about Thriller, SNFever, Grease, Eagles GH-1.. so I think Rumours is the 5th now, but not sure.
