Funny Stevie Nicks movie moment...(blooper)

Hey!
Ok this is funny (I think!) wante to share. My husband and I taped "The Deliberate Stranger" - story of Ted Bundy (yeah we are pathetic but he's never seen it and it looked good) anyway the movie came out in 1986 but takes place (most of it) in 1974 when Ted Bundy was killing all those women. So there is one scene when Mark Harmon who plays Ted is talking to a girl and she's standing outside a record store (now it's supposed to be 1974 right..) but on the wall of the store window is a Stevie solo 45 cover - I think it was "Stand Back" (the one where she's in black dress alone?) - so it was an obvious blooper to me cause obviously that song didnt come out in 1974 but in 1986 (or whatever 45 it was). My husband can't believe I noticed that - but hey when you are a Fleetwood Mac fan you notice!

Yes! Although it was a display for Rock a Little wasn't it? I haven't seen it in a long time, but I remember the record cover with the black dress you're talking about.

I also remember laughing very hard when I saw it, and then having to explain to my Mom why I was laughing so hysterically in the middle of a movie about a serial killer... :D

Yes, Rock a Little! I knew it was probably not Stand Back (I don't have her 45 covers memorized except Edge of and Stop Dragging cause I have that one). Glad you remember it too! It was funny seeing it and knowing they didn't change that for the "year" the movie was to take place!

Thanks for the info on what 45 it was!

Yep, it's a poster of the 'Rock A Little' cover.
I remember noticing that years ago when I first saw the movie too (and the 'Street Angel' promo poster on the wall in 'Empire Records.' But that one wasn't an anachronism).

Perhaps the person in charge of continuity figured that since Stevie was around in the '70s no one would notice. Or maybe someone just wasn't paying close enough attention! ;)
