Mick was on Good Day Live today
 

A friend of mine called my cell phone to tell me it was on. I was driving at the time, but she put the phone up to the TV and let me listen to the end of it...Mick's solo band is doing a tour - they mentioned Arvel Neville being Taku's wife and showed a clip of LIB. The host (Steve?) said that he owned the LIB DVD. Sorry, that's all I got. Maybe someone else who saw it can post more info.

Awesome! I met Arthel when she was with CNN doing Talk Back Live. That's another degree closer to the Mac!

Oh dear, well If I had the extra money ~ i'd go.

I should clarify that I didn't actually hear Mick say that he was touring - my friend told me she thought that's what he said. She's not the brightest bulb in the pack - she thinks Stevie Nicks has been doing a solo tour for the last year and a half and that Mick also plays drums in her band. :eek:

I saw Mick on Good Day Live today too (he was actually there, not on satelite) & he did say that he would be doing some "tv shows??" first & then touring in support of "The Mick Fleetwood Band" album this January. They showed clips of LIB & Destiny Rules. Arthel (co-host & sister of the Neville brothers) said that she toured with the band for a year & a half. She also said that she gave Steve (host) a copy of LIB & he said that he loved it! Mick was going on about how talented Taku is & that he is probably one of the best percussionists out there & that he is now on tour with Bette Midler. I had no idea that Arthel Neville was Taku's wife!

That really was cute. I have never heard of Arthel before. I also did not know that Taku was married. He really is so good, I love his stuff on Stand Back. He is cute too and Arthel is a beauty, I'll bet they look great together. What an interesting couple!

Thanks, Liv. I love Taku and am disappointed to know he's married :D (but happy for him). I was his Red Rover girl (as Lindsey has a come girl) at San Jose, I swear. He is sooooooooooooooooo cute :p

i wrk from home & watch this show everyday, & i was so friggin' happy 2 hear them say that they would b talking 2 mick, i also didn't have any idea that arthel was married 2 taku~ i thought it was so cool when she described how awesome it was 2 b on tour w/ FM 4 a year & a half~ i also loved how the male host steve edwards said "ya know mick FM's music is the soundtrack 2 so many people's lives"~ that gave me goosebumps & i thought, oh so true!!!~
