My thoughts on the final three shows...

Better late than never- I've been procrastinating - letting everyone else do the hard part for me - remembering everything! I was also waiting to develop my pics and get over my post-vacation depression :p :

Atlantic City – This was a venue? More like high school graduation on a football field. Security was awesome. I don’t know who was responsible for setting up the rows of chairs so closely, but they oughta be fired. We had tickets for 8th row –but moved up to 2nd row, after meandering around to shake off the claustrophobia. It was hazardous! Anyway, Ms. Nicks was on fire this evening. Out of the 20 shows I’ve seen on this tour, Atlantic City was definitely one of her best performances! The Borgata is very nice - we had to have cocktails in the Gypsy Bar before the show - you can see a poster for the bars next to the FM poster in the pic...

Dreams – “know, knoooow, knoooow" ending I don't recall hearing before...

GDW-best I’ve seen on this tour!!

10-11 Stand Back twirls – crazy hair in her face after she returned to the mike.

Different GB ending - “na-na-na-na”

SYW-having fun w/ the SYW dancers – I like it when she firmly plants her hands on her hips on the first “will” of the chorus, “Say you WILL, say you will…”

BC – changed several lyrics – “I wish that he was mi-i-ine…”

Landslide – SN loved the crowd's talent...“And you can sing! What a voice!”

Camden – 3rd row pit – stood in 2nd row – pretty much in the middle, slightly more toward LB's side- I liked the space between the last “row” of stage crowders, and the emptiness of the front row, and the space behind me. Lots of LB eye contact – he looked at me, smiled, and patted his heart. Aaawww! This was also the show where LB commented on all the familiar faces who have been to lots and lots of shows. Yep, lots of Ledgies were representin’! Heh. I see the back of several Ledgie heads in my photos. Security was awesome – I took a few pix- you’ll have to excuse w/ my old school, no-zoom, 35 mm camera.

During Sara, when Stevie went toward LB’s mike, she leaned a little too far back on her platform boots and stumbled a bit, made a face like “whooaah” and laughed. Of course, being the pro she is, she gained her composure just in time to sing, “aaallll I ever waaanted, was to knoooow that you were dreeeeeaming….” I’m SO glad they added this song for the second leg.

I spoke to Cory briefly and asked her if she was doing a tour diary for these last shows, she said “no.” :-(

Detroit –We were on the aisle between the center and left section, 2 rows behind the pit, which was fine. But, I had Ms. Flipper next to me. This woman insisted on encroaching upon my space. Whenever she’d clap, she’d spread her arms all the way out, as if she were about to take flight, and waving her drink in my face. I made a comment to her that I was afraid she was going to spill her drink on me, and she said, “Well, maybe I oughta drink it faster so there’s less to spill.” A lot of people left after Don’t Stop, so we moved to the middle section for Goodbye Baby.

I thought I’d be very emotional at this show, since it was the last one and all. But, Detroit Rock City was rocking! This crowd was SO into it! I went for a potty break during the drum solo and noticed that the entire audience, lawn folks included, were on their feet, dancing and singing. Great venue (except security – they were a-holes), great show, great crowd vibe. Too happy to be sappy.

When Mick was doing the band introductions, he almost lost his balls! LOL He was re-tucking the chain, or whatever they hang from, into his pants, and he actually said, “I almost lost my balls!”

Whew! As LB would say (and before him, the Grateful Dead), what a long, strange trip it's been. I still can't believe it's over....

Bring on the solo albums and tours! :wavey:

LOL! OH my.
Thanks Livia for sharing your experience with us. The Sara photo from Camden is actually pretty good. I hear you. I can't wait for the solo albums and tours myself.

Could Donald Trump's name be any bigger on that building?

What a long but fabulous trip indeed. I hope we all get to do this again one day soon. I'm going through some weird, post tour withdrawal. I've literally been dreaming that I'm at a Fleetwood Mac show for the last two weeks or so.

Was that grassy area in the second photo where they had the show?

Yes - if I had panned left a little more, you would have seen the stage. Harrah's was behind the stage - which made for a nice effect, with the constant light show on their building - the neon changes colors and stuff. :wavey:

It was my friend's reaction to the idea of Stevie coming down and doing an impromptu performance at the bar at the Four Seasons Philly... many martinis and beers were had :D It was a fun night!
