but not really surprising. I read an interview about the Ramones doctumentary/movie (And the controversy it is causing) that is forthcoming and Johnny's made it sound as if he knew he was gravely ill...But he didnt want anyone to worry.

Johnny was a very cool guy. One of my favorite memories of hanging out with the Ramones was spent driving around Austin one afternoon while Johnny was gracious to any and all fans that approached him. He was always in a good mood and was always willing to get me and any of friends who wanted to go to a show on his guest list. He was an original.

Wow, I'm sad. RIP.

this so sad, i love the ramones & the movie rock-n-roll highschool!!!~ there is a sight called findadeath.com, where this dude travels all over 2 show u stuff about famous people & their deaths, he was a freak 4 dee dee ramone & has quite a nice section on him, i am hoping 4 equally awesome sections on johnny & joey!!!~
