There's a short article in today's LA Times real estate section about the sale of John's house. Interesting? Maybe not,
but worth a look for diehard fans.

Today's Los Angeles Times reports that John McVie and his wife Julie have listed their longtime home in the Western San Fernando Valley (LA County) at just under $1.6 million. "The McVies have owned the home, on 1.5-plus acres in the gated community of Bell Canyon, since it was built in 1988. The Mediterranean-style house has five bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms in about 4,500 sq ft. The home also has a rock pool with a waterfall, a private driveway, and canyon and city views."

$1.6 million? That's all?! A 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom little shack would go for that much here in Palo Alto. That's it. I'm moving south.
