Break Down of Go Insane

AMAZING: None.

REALLY Good: Loving Cup, Go Insane, Slow Dancing

Good: Both Play In the Rains, Bang the Drum

OK: I Must Go

Bad: DW Suite, I Want You

"so I go insane...like I always do..."

Well it absolutely has a dated sound, more than anything he has done. A sound that was in for about ca 3-4 years, that means during a very short time period. I remember having bought it in late 1988 and thought that it sounded mid-eighties dated even back then! Just technically the sound is not too good also. Sounds as if someone lays a towel over the speakers if you play it.
I like the cover and some of the songs though I'd like to hear them produced in a more timeless way. Here's my evaluation:

Good: Go insane, D.W. suite
O.K.: I want you, Bang the drum, Slow dancing
so so: I must go, Play in the rain II
Not my cup of tea: Loving cup, Play in the rain I

AMAZING: The entire album. A perfect work of art.

Lux...

Yay: I Want You. Go Insane, Loving Cup, Slow Dancing

Eh, Ok: Play in the Rain I and II, Bang The Drum

Nay: I Must Go, DW Suite

-Curt

very dull breakdown

Completely outrageously weird masterpieces:

I Want You. Go Insane, Loving Cup, Slow Dancing Play in the Rain I and II, Bang The Drum,I Must Go, DW Suite.

I really think this is the best thing he's done solo. Not counting GOS, which is even better.

Amazing: Loving Cup, Play In the Rain (both parts), DW Suite (when broken into three tracks), Go Insane, Slow Dancing, I Must Go, Bang the Drum

Great: I Want You

Bleh: None.

Great: Go insane, Play In The Rain I& II, Loving Cup
Good: I want you, Slow dancing
so so: I Want You
Stop the CD: Bang the Drum, I must go
