Mick and Lindsey sighting (US Open)

:woohoo:

CBS just showed Mick and Linsdsey sitting in the stands at the men's semifinals at the US Open (in Flushing, NY.) Lindsey was wearing the requisite white v-neck tee and necklace. Does he ever wear anything else? ;)

John McEnroe gave FM a little plug, saying they were back together touring, and they "couldn't live with each other, but couldn't live without each other."

Did they see any good tennis today??????

Cool! I Didn't know they were into tennis.

As for the shirt - seriously. Even Stevie wears something different off-stage than she does on!

McEnroe's still a fan. Wow, he's been a Machead for many years. He used to hang out with them at rehearsals. Chris once said that she & McEnroe wanted to trade places: he wanted to play keyboards for Fleetwood Mac & she wanted to be a champion tennis player.

He probably can't get it off by now.

True, but the painful thing is: I like what she wears off-stage ALOT more.

How cool. I guess it makes it a lot easier when you don't have to think about what you have to wear every day?

It was okay, not great. The marquee match is on right now, but it's possible that Mick and Lindsey are still there watching it. :]

It's nice to see them hanging out, doing "normal" people things.

Otherwise, the thing must be pretty ripe by now. He needs a stylist more than Stevie ever will.

Full Circle

Stevie was in NYC on 9/11 and now today, exactly three years later, Lindsey(&Mick) are too. This is all very full circle and way organic to me.
It IS also very cool that now all the out of hand "road ragin"(the excessive drinking & drugging)
is behind them, that they are able to appreciate local events while on tour.
I wonder what Ms.Nicks is doing today??? I'll bet that she probably attended some kind of memorial service in NYC this morning (in a very low-key,incognito type of way), had a fabulous lunch, followed by some serious designer shopping or pampering:)

do you guys have mac-awared friends who call you whenever they're on tv?, one of mine actually thought i'm gonna miss The Shield tonight in order to see mick and lindsey's face in the crowd of a tennis game. right.

I'm attending the evening session of the Open tonight (womens singles finals)...I wonder if they'll stick around?

Are you kidding? My friends start emailing or phoning me... And they say they don't care about Fleetwood Mac. ;)

Yeah, but as David so hilariously pointed out today, Lindsey IS the Stepford Guitarist...maybe that one shirt accounts for his having more money than everyone else. (yes, I know that's not why).

Are you kidding? I have people I used to know in high school, who, when I bump into them these days, STILL tell me, "I saw Fleetwood Mac on TV the other day and thought of you!" or "I heard Stevie Nicks on the radio and thought of you!" :o
