The Brilliance of "Gypsy"?

Hi folks! I heard "Gypsy" today on the radio! And I must say, the bridge where it goes, "I have no fear, I have only love" part brought spontaneous tears to my eyes. I've always had a so-so feeling towards this song. What do YOU think?

One of my absolute favorites EVER!

Really Nancy? That's so cool! And the VIDEO is a WHOLE other story!!! Stevie had me when she jumped over the log. (Ew, that was too Jerry Maguire) (Blush)
It's terrible I have this whole fantasy "I wish you were my Mommy" fixation with her! ROTHFL

*Four snaps in a Z formation*

It's totally one of my all time favorites. And the LIB performance??? Don't get me started! I can't help but dance around the room, and I'm absolutely giddy when she does her jazz hands!

Really?...me too. Well actually my fantasy is that Lindsey is my dad so I hang w/ Stevie. LOL!

I love Gypsy. It's made me cry many times. The part that gets to me though is the "Your bright eyes...I can't find you bit" and of course my favorite line "Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice"

They both ring true in my life.

One of Stevie's all-time best, brilliantly written.

I LOVE this song, I remember hearing it when i was very young, and drove my dad nuts by asking him to play it so much. For me this song is one of this "childhood" songs so whenever I hear it, it makes me happy and I have to dance around te room during the guitar solo. I know it makes several ppl sad, and is basically a sad song, but for me it will always make me smile. The video is actually the first music video I remember seeing...

I had the same experience this morning, while on BART...only it was right after, in the "and if I-I-I was a child....and the child was enough...." I've had pretty good, though not as obsessive feelings toward this song, but what keeps it a steady fave is that whole bridge, starting with..."To the gypsy, that remains" and ending with "Looo-oooo-oooo-ove" it's wonderful to sing, which is my main criteria :p *gush*

Gypsy was the reason I became a mac fan.

One of Stevie's best. I was so happy I got to see her do it twice in 2003!

But my favorite memory of that song is when my boyfriend and I went on our first big trip to see Fleetwood Mac at Jones Beach this spring, and after arriving at Penn Station we hailed a cab, right when we got in the cab on our way the the hotel Gypsy came on the radio! Ah, the magic of New York City. :)

"Gypsy" is one of those little pop masterpieces. Just lovely. I used to think that guitar solo at the end was a masterpiece in its own right, too... but they told me here that it wasn't that hard to play (for the guitarists anyway! ;))... still, it gives a nice touch to the song, which is greatness. :)

Gypsy is probably my second favorite FM song-Sara being first-Sara made me a fan. Since coming to the Ledge seven years ago, I have learned there are different versions of Gypsy. The one I absolutely adore is Mirage tour Gypsy...

Oh and I love, love, love the video...

"Gypsy" is my absolute favorite Fleetwood Mac song... the melody is awesome, the lyrics are absolutely beautiful, and the video just sweetens the pot! :)

They lied.
