Poor guy, I'm praying for him. He's a good musician.

Well doesn't that suck? What type of cancer does he have? 53 is YOUNG to me!!! I must admit when you cut through all my pseudo touch-chickness, "Longer" IS a very beautiful tune...My positive light/vibes are with him and those that are near and dear to him...

It's prostate cancer and apparently, it's an advanced case.

I love Dan Fogelberg. I saw him back in the late 70's...stadium tour (remember those, anyone?) with Linda Rondstadt and The Eagles. Fogelberg's backing band had gotten delayed for some reason (I think their bus broke down or something), so he came on stage by himself, just him and an acoustic guitar. It was INCREDIBLE. He had 50,000 people enthralled.

Godspeed to him.

Was that at Arrowhead? Because I think my mom was at that same show.

(Not said to make you feel old, as you know. Just another one of those weird Patti & Pammy Jean had creepy parallel existences type things!)

Dan Fogelberg's Soundstage was on just last night on PBS here, and I was watching it for a few minutes. That's really sad. I wish him well.
