I'm looking forward to this season, too. I haven't watched the first episode yet, but I taped it. I did see a couple of the cast members over the summer in the city, once in front of their house and once driving their pathfinder down Market Street. Looks like it'll be a good season...

Yeah, I saw them 4th of July I think walking down the street...because there were cameras. So many people I know got ON though, we'll see.

I LOVE RW. I have been watching it too, since season 1.

I also can't wait for the Battle of the Sexes 2. These people are like real and it's so much fun watching them fight and battle and crap...I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE this show.

Real World?

I don't think they should call this show "The Real World" It's hardly that. They should call it "Drunken, promiscuous world". I liked the first season in NYC a lot because it was new and the cast didn't realize the kind of celebrity vehicle the show would become so they were more true to themselves. Since then it's steadily gone downhill. They specifically cast people who they think will bring drama to the show and have conflicts. Where are the ugly people, where are the fat people? How real is it to be thrown into an incredible house with 6 other beautiful young people and no responsibilities (other than a bogus job that they are handed). These young people are gross. The first day in the house they are sizing eachother up to see who they want to screw. This show is one step above "girls gone wild". I would much rather watch Road Rules or the extreme challenges. At least on those shows they are forced to work together and achieve something besides getting wasted and laid.

I'M TOO PUNK ROCK FOR THE REAL WORLD!!!!

Oh, come on, someone had to say it. :P

Wow...how long has this show been on? 12 years?

I haven't watched it since the New Orleans season. I really enjoyed that one. This girl that I used to work with once went to N.O. with her sister and she said that they "broke in" to the mansion that the cast lived in (this was a year or two after the show, and they had roped it off/boarded it up). She said they had completely dismantled the interior, so there wasn't any cool stuff left...it was just totally empty.

I totally agree. This show is the epitome of sleaze. I'm actually hoping that one of them catches herpes or something on this show eventually. That redhead with the overactive libido is a real trip, lemme tell ya.

LOL. No one seems real nice.

I just get a kick seeing places I have been to a million times! I guess I'll get over that soon.

Have you guys seen the Sureal Life? The new one with Brigitte Nealson (sp?) She is disgusting! Now I know what the expression "made my skin crawl" is all about.
