Who is Stevie Nicks? Who is Christine McVie?
 

In the LIVE album cover, are you sure who is Chris and who is Stevie? I think Stevie is near Lindsey, but not sure.

That seemed like a REAALY newbie-ish question for a minute. (NT :P)

I'm pretty sure Chris is the one in the middle.

I think Stevie is next to Mick. Where is John?

Yes, Stevie is the one on the left. You can tell by Christine's flower-esque see through shawl which, I think, she is wearing on other photos.

John's on the far right next to Mick.

I believe Stevie is next to Lindsey... Christine was wearing shawls during the Tusk era... To me the shape of the back of Christine's head with her straight hair tells them apart.

This reminds me of a question I have in my mind occasionally... On a shawl / platform boot related subject. Christine seems to be wearing suede platform boots in some of the early shots where Stevie doesn't... and during the Tusk tour... she wore shawls. Do you think Stevie adopted both of those elements and mixed them in with her get-up?

Chris started occasionally wearing the same style boots as Stevie around 1976 -- these were the boots cobbled by Mardiros Vartanian back when he was making boots for the guys in KISS, too. In the barnyard photoshoot from 1976, you can see Chris & Stevie in the boots.

On the Tusk Tour, I think Chris wore a bunch of Stevie's capes & shawls. It doesn't seem "like" Chris, but dozens of those costumes she's wearing in countless photos are obviously either Stevie's or designed specifically for Chris -- probably by Margi -- based on Stevie's own garb. At the tail end of that tour, Chris had on a big gauzy white thing that hung to the floor -- it had "Stevie" written all over it.
