First night of SYW Tour To The Last One-Who Else Is In?
 

I was lucky enough to see the opening of the SYW tour in Columbus, OH last May and will lucky enough to catch them on the last night of tour in Michigan. Just wondered how many others out there are doing the same? It will make a total of five times that I have seen the SYW tour. I expect the last show to be highly emotional and I can't shake this feeling that this tour is probably the last really big thing Fleetwood Mac does.

Well, I am a near miss. I did not get to go to the first show in 2003. The first one I got to was May 13th, 2003. I have been to 20+ shows since May 2003 including both the Boston Soundstage taping and actually show. I was also at Lindsey's Soundstage taping last September. That's almost been a year now. I wonder if it will even be on PBS or a DVD? :confused:
I did get to go to the May 8th show in Madison and that was the best for me. :blob2: :xoxo:
I am going to AC and Camden (front row) but it does not look like I will get to make Detroit at least not right now. Who knows what will happen maybe a miracle will occur and I will be going and be right in the front. ;)

I'm pretty close too I guess. The first time I saw them, technically, was in NYC at the Today Show (after that, it was Atlantic City on May 17, 2003). I also won't be at the very last concert, but I am going to AC (again) and Camden. Counting the Today Show, a week from today I will have seen them 10 times.

Being in the UK counts me out for first or last! Have fun tho

I was at the 2nd show (I believe) back in May 2003 at Washington DC. One of the few times they played Destiny Rules. It was pretty rocky, I thought. Maybe it was my terrible seat, but the sound was very bad and they seemed nervous. BUT then I saw them in the fall and it was 5 times as good! Now I'm excited because I get to see them right near the end, like you said. Full circle. Nice beginning, middle and end theme here...

Do you think they'll toss in any random songs seeing that this is the final 'leg' of the leg? More like a growth than a leg, I guess. I think since it's the end of the tour they may try 'Don't let me down again' or maybe something else just to please themselves. Well...I don't think they will, but I hope :shrug: :-)

I've heard lindsey will not play SHN, NGBA, IKINW nor EOTW, No Go Your Own way and no Tusk. He will be playing Save Me A Place in stead in 6 different Guitar arrangements and they'll drop Sara for a seventh one in close harmony.
