I have a fun story in regards to that.
My friend Anne has the WORST gaydar ever known to man... in that her gaydar works in reverse.
If there's one gay man in a sea of thousands, HE'LL be the one Anne hits on.

Typically, it happens most frequently in regards to guys who are gay but still in the closet (yep, she had a thing for me when we met :o ).

It's pretty foolproof actually.

Well, when she worked for her college newspaper several years ago, she interviewed Rick Santorum.
Whom she found attractive and flirted with mercilessly.

It's been our little joke in recent years, that obviously Santorum is a closeted gay, otherwise she wouldn't have felt the desire to flirt with him! :laugh:

That is pretty funny, Johnny! Poor girl, I used to be like her back in my late teens. Every guy I was attracted to, yep, turned out to be gay. It's a curse!

Unfortunately I couldn't come up with more reputable articles about the book. Hopefully there will be some. It wouldn't surprise me if ALL these things are true, but admittedly the indymedia.org link reads like tabloid fodder and I think most reading this thread who aren't already liberally inclined are likely to quickly dismiss it as such. "Slash-and-burn celebrity biographer" doesn't make her sound too credible ;). BUT to her credit: she's recived awards from the American Society of Journalists & Authors and has written a lot of articles for very highly respected news sources (the New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, etc.)

Johnny Stew: its a scientific fact (!) that the best looking (not to mention intelligent and financially secure) guys are usually ALWAYS gay! so your friend has good taste!

And is the third copy for my birthday (because it's the day before this book is supposed to be released)!

To be honest, I don't give a **** if it's true or not. It's payback for "Unfit For Command." They can dismiss the whole book (which they will have a hard time doing, just look at Kelley's track record), but they'll still have to broadcast all of the books contents on national television in order to do so.
