The best song that opened an album

First of all.. yes, I did closed my other thread because I forgot to mark the poll option. Case closed.

Now, let's enjoy it!! What song you considered was the best choice to open its album,

no live albums included. and just Rumours and post-R lineups albums listed in the poll. But as usual, all comments are welcome ;)

Second Hand News. A fab song that opens a fab album.

Big Love!!!!!

hard decision to me, bu I choose Big Love, a song full of energy. I miss the original style live!

O&O and MM followed closely. In fact they usually choose the right song to open their albums

Actually, my favorite would be "The Chain" off of "The Dance" but I guess I'll vote for "Big Love"

Over & Over is definitely my favorite of all of those, although it's not exactly an upbeat opener song. But I still love it!

I voted SHN. Over and Over would be second. I love the coda at the end.

Oooh, yes, I'm with you on that one!

But of the choices, I'm going with SHN. I love the way it fades in & intros the album.

Big Love for me too, it's the first Mac song I've ever listened to.

Second Hand News is my first choice.

"Over and Over" !!! Christine's best Buckingham/Nicks era song. AND it completely defines the dreamy, Cali-pop, laid back vibe that is Tusk. Ya know.... pot, tube-top sundresses, big floppy hats, really tight jeans that identify one's religion ( ).... some of the proceding imagery copyright Amber.

I chose Monday Morning, as it was our first introduction to Lindsey Buckingham (and Stevie Nicks).

Gypsy3 08-26-2004 03:17 PM

"Big Love," closely followed by "Second Hand News"
