Okay, I just logged in at FM.com to see what's new, and it says my membership expired on 8-15-04. Didn't they send out an email a long time ago saying all of the memberships were renewed THROUGH 2004????

I can renew for $25, but I think I'll pass. I'm just wondering about the whole deal.

Christy, I'm not a member of the fan club, but if I remember correctly, memberships were extended for 6 months when the new crew took over. I could be wrong, so I'll defer to any club members.

Perhaps it was 6 months, but I could have sworn it was through 2004. Wish I saved some of those emails. LOL

I got the same notice when I logged on. Apparently, since the redecorating of the site, memberships have expired. If they think I'm joining again, they're crazy. I also notice they've made the "Today in Fleetwood Mac History" a regular feature. Way to rip off The Penguin. :)

what would be toint of extending membership NOW??? The tour is over and there's no Fleetwood MAc news or events on the horizon. But maybe that's changing and that's why they're extending the membership. Maybe there's some big news about to be released. OR the more ;likely reason the fan club just wants more money for nothing :lol:

The Penguin has a place on it's page that says Important FM Dates. up until now, it's the only site that I recall seeing that feature on.

Yep, memberships were only extended for six months from your one year expiration date. Not through 2004. I really do wonder why they are offering a renewal on this??? The WHOLE site has been revamped, just in time for the end of the tour! How bout that huh?!?!?!

Got a mail a few days ago I could renew my membership for said prices... but I could just swear I had a FREE membership :confused:
