Nope, it's definitely the Bella Donna cover I like the best. It's a ROCK star on the cover -- a rock star with charisma.
It's all about bone-crunching bass, drums & guitar, Stew. The farther Stevie gets from that, the closer she gets to Hallmark greeting cards. And when that happens, somebody help me pull the taffy outta my head.

Unfortunately this will probably end up steering Villavic's thread away from its original intentions, but may I ask about your comment, David?
Why is it that "Stevie fans" have become something to detest or treat with ridicule?
I mean, I admit I too cringe at some of the extremes people sometimes go to... but then, that's true of any fanbase, from everything I've ever observed.
Stevie is a woman who's always loved fairy-tales, glamour, romance, etc. So what's so wrong with her fans loving the same things?
Why does it automatically cast them as flighty people of a presumed lower-intellect? (I'm not implying that you've said "Stevie Fans" are of a lower-intellect... I'm just commenting on a common assumption I have seen.)
And why can Stevie not sing about those things without making people "cringe," and wish she'd be more down to earth?
I think this world has a lot of gruff, cynical people in it... people who actually boast about their jadedness as if it were a badge of honour. And who think you can't be intelligent if you don't view everything sardonically.
Must everyone be tough, angry, and aggressive?
I'm not saying we should all be passive dreamers with no drive or ambition... but isn't there something to be said, for not allowing this world to make you hardened?
I've worked hard to make sure that the things I've experienced, haven't turned me into a complete cynic.
I like finding the beauty in things, rather than just the ugliness.
I think that's yet another thing that's always drawn me to Stevie... she's a strong woman, and yet she still possesses a softness and gentleness.
Rock music is littered with "rrriot girls"... I like that Stevie stands out from the crowd.
(I should also note that I'm not saying that
you're "gruff," "cynical," "jaded," etc... just that it surprises me that you're not more embracing/accepting of those who aren't. You've always struck me as someone who appreciates differences.)
