Destiny Rules US dvd release
 

According to this: http://www.musictap.net/ the Destiny Rules dvd will also get a US commercial release on Sept. 14. So much for all the trouble we went through to get this "exclusive" dvd...

Thanks for posting this - I was about to order one from PBS - maybe they had some kinda deal with the Soundstage folks to let PBS sell 'em first - in the "package deal." :shrug: It wasn't until later that we realized you could buy the documentary only for $19.99, and get the LIB at Best Buy for $18 (and thereby saving $20 or so). I had a hard time w/ those folks - I ordered the 2-DVD set for Tommer and never received 'em- had to bug the crap out of 'em to send me another set, which they eventually did.

Any word on a Canadian release?

Was anyone else never charged for their LIB/Destiny Rules DVDs? I got the DVDs but the purchase never showed up on the American Express bill.

Don't the USA and Canada always get the same stuff? I know they are both Region one so I would think it is the same thing, right? You may just have to order it online.

I REALLY hope this is a new version with extras. Mick did say that there would be extra footage at some point just not in June. So this could be it.

Yeah I was charged for it a few days before I got it.

That expereince made me SO MAD! My "set" was shipped out the day it was released in stores (not a week before like they said it would be, although I know other people's were shipped earlier), and they charged FIFTEEN DOLLARS for shipping to Canada (the actual shipping charge was $3.10 by the way).

So it came to over $80 Canadian [EDIT: Plus the Long Distance charge to call them to order it] and it turns out not to be exclusive to HD Ready at all. Grrr....

No, release dates for movies and CDs are different in Canada than in the States. I've ordered stuff from Amazon Canada because there's a lot of good stuff that's never even released in the States (not necessarily Mac stuff).
