Songs you haven't memorized yet

Do you ever write down what you *think* are the words to a Stevie song, even though you haven't memorized the real words yet? This is a different activity from trying to make out the words to a new Stevie song before you get the lyric sheet. This is when you've had the lyric sheet for a long time, but you still haven't memorized either the song or the words, but you write them down anyway just to stare at them.

Until she herself became the deadliest garden
As was her garden
And so it runs two ward
And don't you know what's wrong?
There are too many flowers
Thrown down now
Still the love that I have for them flowers
Still the love that I have for them flowers
Turn around, turn around
And so it runs two ward
To shake my faith in you
Hunt it down, hunt it down.

Looks accurate to me!

Hee.

I still have no idea how GDW goes unless I'm listening to it.

It's a Lindsey song, but, I still haven't got all the words to "Come" down yet. I can't understand what he's saying in some of the lines and I'm too lazy to take out the CD booklet.

And I would add Fire Burning. :distress:

I know all the Stevie releases. I don't know Red Rover by heart. Same with a lot of solo Lindsey, though I can recognize most of the songs when I see/hear them.

I know I sound pathetic for saying this, but there isn't a commercial release of Stevie's or Fleetwood Mac's that I have not memorized.

That's about par for the course with me. I hardly have any lyrics, and I just sing really loud with whatever it sound like. Actually, I usually get pretty close, now, like a different rhyming word that still makes sense, kind of. But i figure it doesn't matter that much with the way Stevie sings, for fun, I sing entire songs of hers not using hardly any consonants  it can be done, believe me. Her vocal is so stylized, that i'm kind of making fun of her while i'm just trying to sing with her. Good times.... :p
