Jones Beach
 

Anyone hear any news about Jones Beach? I purchased tickets through the fan club and fanfire says the only info they have is that these tickets will be at will call. That doesn't sound good to me. Any news?

I got a phone call the other day telling me where I was sitting and that the tickets would be at will call. I wouldn't worry if I were you, but you should call just to double check everything.

Well I am glad to hear this cause I bought my 3rd row tickets from someone on ebay that got them through the fan club. When he told me that he wouldn't have them until will call sunday I thought maybe I was getting scammed....but I guess it is true! Thank goodness....now lets just prey the show goes on.... :confused:

Just to update--after being told yesterday the tix would be at will call, they arrived via UPS today. I am not sure anyone at fanfire knows whats going on!

I have a feeling as of now, they're planning on doing the show. Jones Beach sold incredibly well. If they were to cancel it, there's a good chance they wouldn't be able to reschedule at the venue due to their summer lineup and the Mac's tour schedule. They'd stand to loose big bucks and we all know a tour promoter doesn't want to loose that. Hopefully the show is a go. I now have tickets :cool:

No Silver Springs..
 

Sadly, it looks like Silver Springs has gone the way of DLMDA, DR, and RTTG. I hope Jones Beach goes off without a hitch and Stevie is feeling better, but I still miss that song! This band is making me crazy with the decisions they make!

Just a heads up for you guys going to Jones Beach on Sunday. The weather calls for partly sunny skies which is lovely, but the high is only going to be 68 degrees and a low of 53. It's much cooler by the shore, so bring a sweater until you get warmed up from dancing. Have fun! :blob2:

So you are now coming to Jones Beach? Very cool! Hopefully, we can try to meet up and say hello... as we didn't get the chance to do that in Atlanta!

I am so glad you posted that link! I can now sleep well tonight knowing Stevie is feeling better and Jones Beach will hopefully go off as planned. I see its going to be chilly. Hopefully that means Stevie will break out more new capes and cloaks. LB will be in the same white shirt, I am confident of that!
Now I am actually starting to get really excited about this show!!

YES! ;) And we HAVE to meet up before the show. Are there any places to eat or anything around there? (i've never been to Jones Beach) I'm planning on leaving my house to go and get Kelly at 3. It's a 2:45 drive to Long Island for me but with traffic, it might take a while to get through LI so chances are we'll be there a bit after 6. I'll have my cell on me and you have my number so definately call me.

I'm so glad Stevie is feeling better. I was really scared after Holmdel. She gave it her all but she was so worn out and wasn't the Stevie I'm used to seeing. Hopefully right now she's sitting in the Waldorf, sipping tea and watching her soaps :nod: I'm ready for her to rock it in NY!!

There is a huge food court as soon as you walk into the gates... so there are plenty of places to eat! A little pricey though. I have no idea what time I am leaving yet, but I am leaving early. I do have your number and will absolutely give you a call. Bring a jacket or sweater too.. it will be chilly!
