Soundstage dvd release date
Dutch website www.dvd-home.nl has a release date of 26 October listed for Lindsey Buckingham with Stevie Nicks- Soundstage. I imagine this will be a worldwide dvd release date since all soundstage dvds released sofar were. And it's in DTS too!

Hey guys -
Just looked for the link and couldn't find Lindsey's name. Has it been taken down? |
I just double-checked- it's still there: click on "r2-database "and then "alle komende titels" and scroll down. However, I made a typo, it's October 26 and not 16. Sorry!
However, I did some searching on the net and it seems most Soundstage dvd-releases sofar (including Chris Isaak and Michael McDonald) have been European-only releases- so US fans possibly will have to get it as an import shoud it not be released in the US... Rick |
If it is a-comin' for sure then they better not leave certain songs (and THE snippet) out. You know which ones I'm talking about ;)
|
Oh yes let this be so.
Down On Rodeo, Murrow and SGCYM live? Oh yeah. Ohhh yeah. Meanwhile... October is a friggin eon away! Thanks for posting this, Rick! |

What I tried to say was that I'm not interested in performances similar to those of the Dance; there would be too much redundancy for me. If they're going to drop some of the songs from the taping, then the best thing for the fans would be to use only the songs that we don't have audio/video versions of. It's not a matter of liking a particular song over the other; it's a desire to hear as much semi-new stuff as possible. That's how it is for me, the Finnish doodle that I am anyway. ;) The tracklist should be something like this (and as you probably remember, he played every song twice except for a couple of exceptions): Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind Steal Your Heart Away Big Love (1X) (OMIT) Go Insane (OMIT) Trouble Peacekeeper (2.5X) (since it was supposedly different from the FM versions because of the limited number of musicians on stage, it can stay) Red Rover Never Going Back Again* Say Goodbye* (OMIT, you can see it all over again on the Boston DVDs) Murrow Go Your Own Way (if it isn't here then will any casual buyer buy the release? ;)) I Am Waiting Down on Rodeo Bleed to Love Her Save Me a Place (+ the snippet of "Frozen Love", the closest we can get to a live performance of it these days) That's how I'd prefer it but the best thing would be if they didn't leave out anything, of course. Mind you, there should be no typo in there. I didn't write "VOMIT", I wrote "OMIT". ;) |

As for leaving off Say Goodbye - Stevie only sang on two songs! Getting rid of SG reduces her to just singing backup on "Been down one time, been down two times" lol. DVDs have lost of space. Even if they get rid of some things for broadcast, I hope they include them in the DVD as a "bonus." |
