Jax Update
 

Just in from Jacksonville from Alex.

First off no SS according to Cory B Stevie has swollen vocal chords. It was either SS or Stand Back to be 86ed.
Stevie sounded not too good tonight.
Kristen was spotted.
Alex was in 6th row and spotted a lady in 3rd row during SYW that was pulling her pants back up after PEEING a river! :eek: :eek: ( the lady was ejected from the arena, more later)
Stevie dedicated Landslide to the Jacksonville sunrise that she saw at 6am after pulling the curtains from her window.
A fan had a sign that said bring back SS and SN was showing the band the sign.
The Goodbye Baby shawl got stuck to the floor and Mick had to help SN undo the shawl from the floor.
LB misses a few notes during NGBA.
The sound quality was off a bit and the band missed a few notes but the show was still good.

hmmm Swollen Vocal Chords. Do any medical experts no how serious that is and how long it would take to go away. Well at least she has 3 WHOLE DAYS to recover now. And just a thoguht maybe they should just postpone the show on Wednesday and give Stevie a whole 5 days to recover. I realize that idea might suck to you guys planning on seeing the band wednesday, but isn't it harming Stevie having to sing AT ALL all these nights. And I did say Post pone not cancell the show. Because I want Stevie to be seeing healthy not just go out on Stage and make things worse for herself. Of course this is coming from someone who's show is like 3 weeks awya and I'm not think like someone who's eeing them this week :)

I was at the Raleigh show (9th row in front of Stevie!) and I have to say that something was definitely wrong with her. It was still a great show and I have no complaints but she seemed like she was dragging (of course the 90 degree heat couldn't have helped). The group up front that sang "Happy Birthday" to her definitely lifted her spirits.

I think some people read into these things too much. I was just at the show in Jax and she seemed great. Can I ask exactly what seemed off about her in NC? It could have just been the heat because I get like that too. If I am overheated you would thing I was on the verge of death even though I am fine, I'm just uncomfortable.

She's probably pooped out and much like gldstwmn said in another thread, I agree that playing outdoor venues has never been the most agreeable idea for her. Tis' the season for allergies and asthma. Being outside...in the heat and humidity...with gloves...and long hair...and 20 yards of black chiffon probably isn't in her best interests regardless of the fact that she has a fan blowing at her feet. Also, don't forget that Stevie does have Epstein Barr as well....that does make you incredibly tired at times so maybe that's another reason why she occasionally seems "off." JMO.

So did Stevie see the "bring back SS" part of the sign? From what Christopher said in his review he didn't think she saw that side of the sign. Unless I read that wrong. Which is totally possible. :]

She did see it, Mick pointed it out to her and she looked down.BTW, I know I've said this a few times now, but that was my sign :lol: So glad she got it.I talked about it under Jacksonville review.
