The Mick Fleetwood Story dvd
 

I've seen this dvd in some stores here, but as dvd's are kind of costly, I'd like to know a bit more about it before I spend my 20+ euros on it. Is this one worth buying? I'm not exactly a MF fan, I'd be buying it for mac-clips & interviews.

It's actually pretty good.. has alot of Mac clips in it. I'd recommend it!

I actually just watched mine last night for the first time in ages. There are tons of fantastic old pics and video clips of the band; I had fun using the 'slow' option of the DVD to really check it out. Christine's little interviews are highly amusing; she cracks me up. I would get it; I think true fans would enjoy it.

I'd recommend it too. There are lots of great Fleetwood Mac clips, including short, but terrific footage from the Rumours tour in Japan. Also, the Christine interview segments are terrific. It's one of the only 2 video clips of her since the Dance ended, the other being that Capital Gold awards show from last year.

Yeah, there are several mac clips, it's very cool.

But a bit dissapointing there is no bonus material, close caption, etc. If you don't care about that, I really recommend it.

I just finished watching it. Loved all those little clips, that was certainly worth it! I thought it was strange how they went through Fleetwood Mac's history, skipping many parts.. but then again, it isn't a fleetwood mac documentary, of course. I was surprised how little attention Danny Kirwan got. I was still waiting for a comment about his leaving the band, when all of a sudden Lindsey/Stevie came in the picture! Christine is such a cool lady... I hope she will do some tv-interviews to promote her new album :)

i thought the old rare footage was a treat. we have never seen a lot of that stuff, especially the pre b/n stuff. you gotta love christine on the bike. there was so much stuff on there, i had to rewind and pause so many times i've lost count. i want to see that whole '76 concert that they keep teasing us with. it's the outdoor show in the beginning. we've seen portions of that before - i think in the "going home" doc.
