Well its not Stevie, but I'd like to hear whole song before I give any real critical opinion. :P

I found the full song on WinMX a few weeks ago. It was labelled as Stevie Nicks, so I figured it was a remix of the original ROF. Imagine my surprise when it was someone else ;)

It's pretty decent, and I'm not really one for club remixes, etc. I really only downloaded it because I'm working on building up a FM/Stevie/etc remix CD (yay for the cheesiness factor of all of them). I like it, though.

I *think* I found it labelled Stevie Nicks DJ Europa - Rooms On Fire (White Label Monitor Mix 2003) or something similar. I just typed "stevie nicks mix" in the search field, and that (among others) came up.

I will never understand why I was totally in love with the Linus Loves version of Stand Back..it's just a good time. Good timesch, Greg.

They play that SB video all of the time here in Atlanta clubs.

If I were out and It came on, i'd be grooving. Who am I kidding? If it came on MTV 2 and I was home, i'd still be grooving :laugh:

Although this is usually not my preferred kind of music, this version doesn't sound bad at all. Am I wrong, or could this become a hit in Europe ( = finally some European "solo ching ching" for Stevie again)? ;)

She doesn't have a bad voice - it's kinda cool. Totally gay disco music, but kinda cool gay disco. I am sure guys will be freaked out on crystal dancing to it across america. :nod:

I'm SO closed minded sometimes when it comes to music though...I'm totally aware of it and I admit it.

This isn't a genre I like at all really....I will dance to it if I'm at a club or something, which is a rarity :)

So yeah...it's just not my cup of tea :)

At first it didn't sound bad when it was just the vocal and piano, but then the techno dance music started and that was it for me.
