Holiday Road on AI

Just had the American Idol people do an ad for Ford and used that song. A silly commercial but funny to hear that song. They sang Holiday Road.

I was thinking I lost it for a minute when I first heard it. :lol:

I got real excited when I heard it. It was a stupid commecial but it was freaking HOLDIDAY ROAD.

NEVER watch this show, but I happened to turn it on and ouila! :) So glad I did!

But I'm not sure what's going on with the show itself. The judges think these girls are the best, but now they're being eliminated? :confused:

Yeah, the song started and I was thinking, this sounds like Holiday Road. But then I thought, nah, they wouldn't be doing that song. Then they started singing and I was like WHOA! Then I just couldn't help but wonder if they even knew who sang that song. I'm thinking none did. :laugh:

Joe...

I'm over AI. I found my Idol and I don't need another. Plus, they are pushing screaming divas down our throats. Not EVERYONE in the US loves hearing girls scream.

Plus, they probably bastidized Holiday Road anyways. Bleh.

I liked him either way. I LOVED the fro...it's what caught my eye when I glanced at the TV back during Season One. That said, he looks good now and I'm glad he got away from RCA (Really Crappy A$$) Records and 19 Management who couldn't manage to open a ketchup bottle.

Funny, I hear more William Hung on the radio than I EVER heard a Justin song, which was NEVER. Radio sucks and payola STILL exists.
