Stand Back: "Call" or "Fall"
 

This is another thing that has been bugging me lately, although it always has. I know the lyrics say that Stevie says "One man did not call" but I've always heard it as "fall," not "call." I can't make out the hard C sound. Anyone else think it's "fall"?

Read the lyrics again. Every song tells a story, its just the interpretation that's hard to get sometimes. I'm pretty sure its call.

I always thought it was Fall, but I could easily be wrong.

Hmmm...I never noticed that the lyrics say "call"! I've always thought "fall" for the album version, and it always seems like that's what she's singing when you can actually see her lips in a video too. Now I'll be watching closely.....
