I found a few pictures while surfing the other day --

The attached picture is of Christine, Mick, Cheryl Tiegs and Peter Beard at Studio 54, probably in 1978.

Thanks for posting. I like those pictures of Christine at her organ. But, is that Peter Beard in the Studio 54 picture? I have a video from the Tusk photoshoot in 1978. The guy that was photographing the band in that video had long hair and a beard. I thought that was Peter Beard.

That's Herbert Worthington. :)

I think the photographer you're thinking of from that video is Herbie Worthington. He had long hair and a beard and did a lot of band photos. Peter Beard did the actual layout of all of the artwork for the Tusk album.

The site where I found this picture has this fellow labeled as Peter Beard. I don't know if I've ever seen him before, so I have nothing to compare it against, unfortunately.

Isn't there a book by Beard filled with anecdotes of the year he hung out with the Mac? So little is known about it -- in fact, most of what is known can be gleaned from the Tusk vinyl jackets, using a magnifying glass.

If there were any logic to the world, Beard would have the beard!!

As it is, now there are visions of ZZ Top in my head where the only one without the beard is named Beard!

Thanks, Johnny Stew.:) For some reason, I always assumed that was Peter Beard in that 1978 photoshoot. I never thought that the guy in the 1978 photoshoot & the guy in the Rumours Classic Albums DVD were the same person. Worthington just looks so much older in that 1997 DVD. It also looks as if he's put on a few pounds over the years, too. :)
