The Play...er, Press Conference

It's official: those of us who compare this to Vietnam aren't patriotic.

Shrub doesn't believe he's made any mistakes since 9/11.

Shrub does not feel any responsibility for failing us on 9/11.

That thing was a joke.

Have mentioned I hate him?

The election can't come soon enough.

I totally agree. It was beyond ridiculous. I had to laugh, though, when he was asked about mistakes and he couldn't think of any. Did you see his face turn red? What a putz.

How about his signature mispronunciations? I have to cringe everytime he opens his mouth. Can the man speak or is he a toddler? Geeze.

Take your pick. "I wouldn't like it if I were occupied either.' Kudos to the WaPo reporter for pressing him on why Unka Dick and he have to testify together before the 9/11 commission. We got not one answer folks. I think it's okay. He was defiant, defensive and then drew a complete blank- "I'm sure something will pop into my head." Is this what he was thinking on the morning of 9/11 in that classroom at Booker Elementary? This is deifnitely the begining of the end. Also, there was not one question about the economy or domestic policy. The knives are out.

Japan also advised its citizens to leave while Russia announce it is sending planes to evacuate its citizens while France and coalition partner Japan are urging their citizens to leave.

Another coalition partner, the Philippines, said it was considering removing its contingent of 60 troops

Countries throughout the world are alarmed at the recent surge in kidnappings and disappearances of foreign nationals.

Russia announced the evacuation of some of the 816 contractors working for Russian companies in Iraq, according to the Ministry for Emergency Situations. It will send the first of seven planes to Iraq Thursday to move them out.

The announcement comes after eight employees of a Russian electric power consortium were kidnapped in Baghdad Monday and released, unharmed, the next morning."

Civil war, anyone?

Any kind of support that Shrub mustered back up last night will soon be gone with these new revelations.
