going anywhere exciting for your hols?
 

Anyone doing anything fun this Summer? Going somewhere exciting and new, or peaceful and familiar?
Lets know what your'e up to on your holidays.....:D

I am going to Europe!!!!! I cannot wait.

Then, of course it is the second "Summer of Stevie" - in a row no less :laugh: I probably will go to two concerts in diff. cities than Atlanta this Summer.

Strand..coming to Europe..wow how exciting going anywhere in particular? As for the "second coming of Stevie" yes, you lucky Americans, alas... don't think they'll be back this way for a while.:(
Lucky me though, I'm off to Majorca for a week with the loveliest man in the world :D

I am going to Italy (Venice, Rome, Naples) and Greece (Athens -the night of the closing ceremonies no less :cool: - and a couple of islands), and Spain (Barcelona). I am going with a group of friends whose lifestyle far exceeds mine - they agreed to let me come if I'd carry the Gucci bags :laugh: Seriously, we are all going to have a blast. AND - I just bought a new laptop and a new cell phone that is quad band and works in Europe. So, I'll be posting from abroad about a broad (Stevie) :laugh:

I would love to get to London this year, but and sadly, that it unlikely at this point. I love London so much. I though I could never love a city more than Paris, but London is up there!!!!

OMG - I was in Majorca two years ago. It is a slice of heaven!!!!! I preferred it by far to its neighbor Ibiza, which I found rather sad as we went to the clubs there for which it is famed and I saw people shooting up what appeared to be heroine. I kind of freaked because although I LOVE a cocktail or ten, I am not into drugs at all and do not really want to be around them. But Ibiza itself was lovely, but not like Palma de M. I just loved that island. Have a great time with your guy!!!!!!!

Oh Strand...I hope you have a wonderful time..all those places, plus the Olympics!! Do keep us posted every once in a while :cool:

As for Majorca (I've never been) .. hopefully, wer'e going to the quiet side, and I'm glad to know you give it the thumbs up...hey looks like wer'e the only Ledgies going on holiday this Summer..haha

I'm going to Crete in June! I can't wait! It's the first time abroad for our kids and they are more excited about going on a plane!

I'm just looking forward to lots of sun!

I'm going to Washington D.C. to work as an intern at National Public Radio! I hope to check out all the sites there and I hope to make it to New York a couple of times as well :)

if everything works out, i'll be going to europe twice, once with my family, either to tuscany in italy, or greece (not if i can help it), and then the second time i'll be going with friends to amsterdam.

DAMN I NEED A VECATION!!! :distress:

I have a chance to go to a training institute in Israel for about two weeks, but I don't think I'll be able to because of other commitments.
I'm sure I'll make it to Philly for the first time since the May 2003 concert.
