Is it me or do stevies fingers look a little big?

I think its the camera angle, but yea, they are large :laugh:

That photo was taken right around the time Stevie's management told her that she needed to lose about 20lbs. from her fingers, or her career as a hand-model would be over before it even started.

She immediately fired them, and subsequently had great success modeling a line of fancy jewelry for full-figured fingers.

There isn't anything our lady can't do! :D

fat fingers.....sheesh. the girl can't catch a break.

They do look a bit big in that photo..it could be the camera angle..or the way she is holding the fan thingie....

From other photos and seeing her live though, I think she has beautiful hands...:nod:

whether it was lighting, photo touch-ups, or a light, low-sodium breakfast that morning, there may have been some extra considerations taken during photo sessions...

....obviously, the director of photography forgot to look at the hands....

its the picture angle as johhny pointed out and the fact that i think its her knuckles your looking at, her fingers look bent . but does it really matter folks? yeah she was heavier in those days, but does that matter to us?

Erm... I think they look like anyone's fingers would when holding a fan or other object. When you're clutching something, you apply pressure to the object, and therefore any excess skin/fat from your fingers will look wider, etc. Like when you make a fist, usually your fingers look a little wider. I make little sense, I know. :rolleyes:

jeez....don't get too sensitive about this....i really thought the original post was meant to poke fun at the disproportional quality of the photo. It could be genuine but they also like to touch things up here and there.

I did not take this to be a comment of La Nicks' weight. I took it to mean the pic is strange in that her fingers look for some reason large. That is all.
