For $500 I want to meet the band!

Did you guys read all that?
If you are a platinum member, you get all this stuff but no meet and greet? To me, it's not worth it. Am I wrong in thinking that?

As for the presale...this is just for the one show right? I didn't want to miss it.

Did anyone try to for tickets yet? Is there first row?

macmar71 02-12-2004 05:39 PM

I agree with you Janet that if you're spending that amount you should be able to meet them!!!

darklinensuit 02-12-2004 05:45 PM

For that amount of money I want to do more than meet Stevie.;)

Hi Janet :-)

Hope you are well!

Where did it say $500? I Just posted about the Platinum email but mine didn't mention a cost and I am just very confused and can't get to the site/or email. I am also wondering about when do presales start for ALL the shows? Does anyone know?

I agree for $500 I'd want to meet - so the backstage thing you don't meet? I mean forget it. I'd rather have front row for that price and at least see them close for 2.5 hours than go backstage and not meet them?

Thats total bull****!! $500.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And plus they say rows 1-5, u will def not get rows 1-3 because they are reserved for the radio stations and giveaways. things like that.

PLUS: THEY DON'T EVEN TELL YOU WHAT SEATS YOU GET. THEY ARE PICKED AT RANDOM.

I think thats horrible. At least my mom knows someone who can get us good tickets.

You are not wrong Janet. I agree with you. If someone is gonna spend $500, at least give them a meet and greet and a guarantee of an awesome seat. To me it just isn't worth it to spent that amount of money and not get anything substantial in return.

they might actually get row 1-5 tix...even row 1 tix...i got 2nd row right through ticketmaster in September....but its not worth the 500 bucks IMO...

First of all, you only get one ticket rows 1-5. I know at the Tweeter, unless you are center...1 might as well be back row.

You get a backstage tour but " NO MEET AND GREET"

You get a gc for merchandise and a signed tourbook too, I think.

None of that is worth it. I can take my chances on getting 1-5 for $150 ( or less hopefully) and as for a backstage tour, that would be cool but I guess it's when the band is far away because the way they said NO MEET AND GREET was like..you ARE NOT meeting the band.

They did say $500 and it's only for 50 people. I wonder if 50 people will even want this?

I hate that if me and my friend wanted the same thing , we'd have to pay $1000.

Maybe if they promised I'd meet Lindsey and have a drink with him, I'd like prostitute myself and do that, but it's not worth it!!

:(

In 2002 I joined the No Doubt FanClub Mailing list for FREE! Members were given presale codes for FREE! All of the floor seats were standing room only. I was able to get a floor ticket. I got to the arena not to early where I was able to stand 1 row of people back from the left side of the stage, kinda like being in the 2nd row. Oh yeah the ticket was like $55. No Doubt doesn't charge absurd ticket prices to rip their fans off like Fleetwood Mac.

I'll be going to the Nashville show but could care LESS about some backstage thing since ive been backstage there 3 times over the years for FREE. A tour book? Someone forgot to mention who was autographing it. I would never pay for a generic autograph from anyone. If its not signed in front of me I don't want it. I have other Fleetwood Mac autographs that I have gotten for FREE before. So Fleetwood Mac can take their $500 package and stick it you know where. I hope they end up eating most of them. If ALL of the money was going to some charity, then I might consider it.

Janet... no-one will know where they are sitting until a couple of weeks before the concert.

Janet 02-13-2004 12:48 PM

Yeah, I have figured that out. That is why I am not doing any of this shady stuff. I want to know exactly where I am sitting, especially at a crappy venue!

UGH!

macmar71 02-13-2004 08:40 PM

Hi Janet,

Which Tweeter Center are you talking about the one in NJ or the one in MA?
