Well it depends on what you are looking for. There is Virgin records in Time Square. The most exciting thing that they might have is an import from the UK which might be kind of pointless for you.

There is a another place in Time Square that had a few songbooks the last time that I was there but nothing too exciting. Mostly Kiss, Charlie's Angels, Osmonds, David Cassidy and stuff like that. I don't remember the name of the place.

Down in the Village there are some record stores that sell bootleg CDs and old vinyl. There are on or around Bleeker St.

I am going to NYC next weekend (Feb13-16) myself.

Forget Virgin Records. Waste of time. Go to the Village and pop in to the independent stores. They often have bootlegs of concerts and stuff like that. That is how I got my Buckingham Nicks CD.
