Getting really defensive of Stevie

Has anyone just gotten really defensive of FM/Stevie before?

Today, during art class we were listening to the radio and a Stevie song came on (EO17) and several people knew the words and were rocking out which I was thrilled to see. And then someone turned the volume way down and stated "That is a dumb song!" Needless to say art supplies were thrown, paint went flying, the boom box was blasted, and threatening words were exchanged! Can you beleive I am so defensive of people I have never even met?

Does anyone have any stories?

Well I was joking about throwing art supplies, but we did have a war with the volume button.

Well...anyone who says EO17 is "dumb"...well...is dumb!

Yeah...if someone says they don't like FM I don't let it go most of the time...but everyone has the right to an opinion.

Um...who gives a rat's ear what other people think? Not everyone likes the band....I've come to respect the opinions of others without getting defensive..it just wastes much needed energy and I never got any medals or better concert seats for being a loyal fan to anyone...so to each their own...I hate Mariah Carrey, for example...and would not want someone to start a battle with me over that...so conversly I don't start battles with people over music they hate and I like...

That is some reaction but not really necessary. Its too trivial to wage a batttle over.

I got told I was a freak for attending 4 mac concerts next month.

My reaction? Laughed it off and didn't give a sh*t.

Gimme a break.

The same people who are calling die-hard fans freaks and screaming certain songs suck are the same people who are fans of other singers/entertainers. It's ridiculous to fight over it, you just have to laugh it off. I've gotten my share of hate from people, but whatever.

They don't know squat about squat.

I don't necessarily throw things when I hear stuff like that, but I have a habit to turn every disagreement that passes my way into a debate.

I used to have a best friend... but then she read is a stupid Christian teen magazine that Stevie was a witch, and kinda backed off away from me since. Idiot.
