Melbourne pre-concert party
 

Here's the deal.

There's this gathering and its gonna rock.....and WE want YOU to come along.

When: Saturday 21st February @ 8pm (Sat before concert)

Where: TBA - but will be centrally located.

What: TBA - it may be a pub, picnic or bbq affair.

We are now number crunching!! Anyone who intends to come (even if you've already confirmed).....please email us asap at [email protected]

In the email's subject heading state the number of people you are bringing including yourself. Therefore, if you want to come and will bring a friend....your email will be received like this:

Sorry about the instructions but it saves time and makes the information easy to collate. You'll get an email next week stating the time and place of the gathering.

Now, some of us have met before and some haven't but it doesn't mean we're gonna form little cliques in corners. We're a social bunch that love meeting new Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks fans. We encourage fans to come along because we've all waited for this tour for a long time so we may as well celebrate it.

Bring a friend or partner....all is well. You'll be surprised how welcomed you'll feel.

You should all get together and greet the band when they arrive at their hotel in the limos....with signs and all...that would be fun too...ahh hell just have your party in the hotel parking lot!!

Wish you could make it. Another time maybe. Many of us have travelled interstate to meet up over the past couple of years.

Thanks for the board suggestions. I'd already done two cross-posts and was going to ask about other boards. Thanks to you...I don't have to do that anymore. :)

I tried to access FM Legacy with my ezboard membership but somehow it didn't seem to work since a seperate browser opened and didn't do much else. Oh well

We've already attrracted our first international traveller - which is cool!!

Make sure you see the end of the film!!

We have booked a private room at a pub in Richmond (down the road from Rod Laver Arena)

We were lucky and got the room for free!

The private room has:
Fully serviced bar
Pinballs machines
Piano
TVs which we might be able to play Fleetwood Mac videos on
CD player for our music
Private courtyard for our use only.

It will start at 7pm. So far there are 12 of us including someone from overseas. We expect a few more people but it won't be more than 25 people I suspect.

Staff will cook a BBQ for us in our private courtyard. Cost is $12AU per head.

We have more people attending the party.

I know there are some more people out there lurking around who would love to come but feel a little anxious.

This gathering will be an intimate and relaxed social gathering of about 20 or so people from a variety of backgrounds.

I haven't been on this forum in a while and now I log on to find out theres a FM party in my town...IN 2 HOURS TIME!!!!

OH WELL have fun guys...

PS....Ya know what hotel their going to stay at?

Its now the morning after the party and heads are a bit sore.

Review to come soon plus the unveiling of our surprise Fleetwood Mac game.

The party was a complete success and we met lots of new people.
