question for DISSENTION

is there a program that can produce the center channel mixes, etc? what I am looking to do is get a program that will allow me to edit the music, like get some acapella stuff, or just vocal and keyboard or something - just let me know thanks

No. I've looked and haven't found anything. :( I know that those mixes were made from the DVD-A, though.

My question to dissention is: Are you ever gonna update your sight? It got me so excited to see so much to download in one place plus a lot of stuff I don't have...and I can't hold my breath any longer.......

If you have a 5.1 DVD system...

you would not need a program to make the "Center Mixes", Please read below for an explanation on how to accomplish this feat:

"Q-"Hello.
I have an online-friend who wants to make a CD-R that is sourced from a 5.1 DVD, And he is wanting to make a "Karaoke-like" mix that has the guitar tracks removed but he doesnt know how to correctly make one...
I would appreciate any info provided...Brian j."

A-"One easy way would be to use a DVD player with a built-in Dolby Digital decoder. A player like that would have 6 output jacks on it's rear panel (front left, center, front right, back left, back right and subwoofer). These low-level outputs would normally be connected to 6 equivalent inputs on a surround amplifier/receiver which would then drive 5 speakers and a sub.

If you connected a recording device (tape, dat, minidisc, stand-alone cdr, computer, etc) directly to the pair of DVD player outputs that has the mix you want, you could capture the audio and burn it to a cdr. (***You would use the "Center channel" outputs to make the mixes...)

There's probably more sophisticated methods but this is one of the quick & easy ways!

Cheers!"

Hope this gives you an answer that can help you out...

Brian j.
