I am not really sure if this affects anyone here but please check these out--may be pics from someone you know.

This link will show you the items previously sold or that were up for auction. All t-shirts with some one's pictures.

I recognize 2 as mine, one that looks like Will's (Bumperke)? And a few others I've seen shared on message boards :-/. Not cool. Thanks for the heads up.

I emailed the seller and have been told this was a mistake and won't happen again. I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt this time, but will be watching ebay more closely

If any of those pics are yours please contact Ebay and file a complaint. They will make her remove the auction if she hasn't done so already. As this is turning into a blatent widespread thing, they may also remove her selling privaleges. She has been around the FM community for quite some time and is not ignorant to some of the previous picture 'thefts.' I think when the final count comes in, many people will find themselves on the short end of this. There are somethings you just don't do and this is at the top of the list. I can't beleive she actually thought that she would get away with this.

I don't get it.
 

Why would this person try to make money off fans, using fan pictures that were posted for FREE. I recognize the name of the seller from Mick's board. mandersv/hugs mandy. I guess it's "free enterprizing" or something. Well, I hope those of you that posted your pics and caught this will have your NON permission honored. But it's all about honor isn't it. I hope there's some honor left among the fans.

This sucks big time but what can we do?! There's no copyright on any of the pictures so people can just take what they want and do with them what they want.
I agree with Tango and also hope there's some honor left among the fans. The least the seller could do was asking permission to use the pictures.

I guess there isn't much justice too be had in this situation. It looks like she won't even get a slap on the hand for doing this. She is very adept at manipulating situations and is doing so at the B/N site. She'll still sell these t-shirts-maybe not on the net---but she will sell them somewhere and laugh all the way to the bank. I only hope this doesn't affect the trust of the people that have shared their pics for us. I know I would have to be a little gun-shy after this one.

I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, the first time. She said it was an honest mistake, explained the situation, removed the auctions, and profusely apologized. If she was insincere, that's unfortunate, but that reflects on her character, not mine. If I see it again, something more will be done.
