Sounds pretty much the same, except theyve made Stevie the lead vocalist. Lindsey fans will not like this version at all. His voice is completely buried into the mix.

I have to say that I'm not all that thrilled with it. I don't like the way they put Stevie up front like that, as good as her backing vocals are. It's Lindsey's song, for cripes sake! :laugh: It's okay, though, nothing special.

It sort of has a folk-pop feel to it now - a very little tiny bit like Paper Doll - though better.

I will summarize my reaction thusly:

I guess i'm in the minority here but I kind of dig it. It has a sort of dance feel to it. I just think it's cool how many different twists you can put on one song. :nod: The only dissapointment? Now it's not so much a chicken squawk as it is just Lindsey making his "ah" sounds (which is hotter ;))

My first reaction is 'bleugh', but I'm soo used to the normal Peackeeper by this stage...
It's a very new take on the song.

Oh and this thing about Lindsey's voice being buried or Stevie being lead vocals - Whaa?? I so don't hear that.

Yea, I'd have to say I don't hear that either. If anything, they've upped the volume on her backing vocals to make them a bit more prominate but I don't hear how she's the lead :shrug:
