Fleetwood Mac Soundstage info?!
 

A friend sent me this, she subscribes to the Soundstage email updates:

I know Lindsey filmed Soundstage, but the Mac? Did I miss something? Or was this the PBS filming they did in Boston? Or am I on crack?

Well Fleetwood Mac was taped for PBS, but was not exactly a soundstage show. I think FM is a special soundstage episode. So it will prob. be like a two hour season premeire to kick of the new season, I'm not really sure though...

Maybe they just couldn't find any other place to put the FM concert, so they are making it a soundstage episode.

Also, it sounds like FM and Lindsey's PBS tapings will deffinately be on DVD, if I read that article right. It sounds like they put all of the episodes on dvd, right?

I must say, I am not the biggest Lindsey fan, but even I will buy his soundstage episode. He is the best guitarist I have had the pleasure of listening to.

The FM show was taped for Soundstage. Even if they do edit it down to an hour, there are no commercial breaks, so that means more music. :D They release every Soundstage eppy on DVD with extra songs (the Tom Petty one I have has more songs), so I'm happy about that. Plus, the SYW doc will be released early next year, too, according to Liddy Buck! I can't wait...

It's Soundstage. They're branching out on Soundstage, trying to film more specials out of the studio, in different venues, but it's still under the banner of Soundstage.

Their season finale last month was excellent- they filmed Farm Aid in Columbus OH.
