MEN Arena Photos 04/12/03
 

I managed to get my digital camera into the concert last night and took a few photos, well a 191 actually but who's counting? :D Unfortunately I didn't capture Lindsey telling the guys who were fighting to get the f out of the concert. Boy, Linds has great taste in boots, aren't they lovely.....but I really have to say, I'm just totally in LOVE with his...white strat guitar...wow!!!:nod:

Why did Lindsey change to the white strat all of a sudden? Does the song sound different now without the Turner.

He broke his guitar on Saturday at Earls Court!

Wow, my Dad was right. Anyway, doesn't he carry more than one?

He got rather carried away with the moment and when he did his usual "swing the guitar around the head by it's neck like a mad axeman" routine, this time he let go in full motion and flung it across the stage. It came down on it's top, bounced, slid gracefully down the stage and it seems to have ripped the bridge off and also damaged the pickup cover. I seem to recall him picking it up and wondering why the strings were swinging around...

From what I saw, Lindsey has 4 Model 1's with him on tour, along with a Gibson Chet Atkins, a Taylor 814CE, a Turner RS6 and a Turner RN6.

The Fender Strat (a white bodied, rosewood board Mexican model) appeared for the following Earls Court show. I guess Ray persuaded Lindsey that if he was gonna destroy another guitar it should be a cheap one! :laugh: In the three concerts since Lindsey has thrown it all over the stage. It's pretty scarred already!!!!
