Bah Humbug!

OK, I really do love the holidays, but BOTH of the Buffalo radio stations that would even CONSIDER playing the new Mac singles went to an "all Christmas music " format like 2 weeks ago!!!

I've heard that many stations around the country will be doing the same thing right after Thanksgiving - this can't be good for TD & SYHA as far as chart position, since I figure there's no chance they'll play them on the Top 40 or classic rock stations (at least not in Buffalo!)

Same has happened here in GA as well...

you're talking about star 102.5 right. That's the station I go to to hear new mac. And even they aren't THAT great. But I agree it's TOO EEARLY to go to all christmas now. Maybe with two weeks left til christmas. How many songs could they possibly play.

on the bright side I DID hear Stevie's SILENT NIGHT at work today

And for that matter, Joy96 and 102.5 are playing some of the WORST Christmas music EVER. If I hear that aggravating "Christmas Shoes" song again, I might be sick.

In Buffalo, you are right, no chance at all without those two stations. Too old for Kiss and The Edge, too soft for 97 rock. But check out 107.1 out of Toronto...I have heard Say You Will on there...neither of the new singles...but they did have Peacekeeper and SYW in heavy rotation for a long time.
